Design Competition FAQs
Do you offer a cash prize?
We do not offer a cash prize. The Project Never winner will receive almost $2,000 worth of
merchandise and subscriptions – and have the honor of Project Never Designer of
the Year.
Can I submit my work via e-mail?
No. You can submit your entries online.
Can I submit multiple entries?
One
entry per person. Companies and organizations may submit additional
entries if submitted by different submitters. If multiple entries are
submitted, first entry will qualify and all other entries will be
discarded..
Can I enter my work as a series?
Yes, but all work in a series must be presented as one entry. When works are
submitted as a series they are judged together as a group. The overall strength
of the series depends on each individual piece and its function within the campaign.
Will my creative concept be used by others?
Project
Never submissions are the property of their owners and may not be used
by anyone beside their owners with the exception to promote their
designs..
Where do we put creative credits?
All we need is the contact information of the person submitting the
work along with the name of the design firm or agency. Creative credits
will be requested if your work is chosen for inclusion in the magazine.
How do I enter a Web site, Video or interactive work?
Presentation is part of the creative strategy and we leave that up the
submitter. You may present screen grabs, links, photographs or anything
else that you think would help. Please be creative!
Can I submit student work?
Student work is accepted as long as it was intended for an actual client, and not
a school project.
How does the judging takes place?
All entries will be screened by Project Never moderators. Entries that
qualify to advance will be judged by a select group of
well-accomplished industry experts on the following criteria:
- Creative concept
- Presentation of submission
- Design quality and how the project would have been executed
- Impact on the viewer
When will we know if our entry was chosen?
If your entry is chosen we will notify you within two months after submissions are closed. Because
of the number of entries we receive, we can only notify people whose work qualify as finalists.
