Winner 2011

We would like to congratulate this year's winning team— Paola Elizondo, Sofia de Rueda, Mariel Alanis, Mariana Salas, and Teresa Hinojosa. Their project "El Centenario," wowed our judges with her identity system for a cultural museum in Monterrey, México.
"The presentation shows there was a thought process behind this. I love seeing design integrated across multiple mediums with small consistencies carried through out. The brand is fun and recognizable, but not over-powering – it's simple and still stands out amongst a crowd and goes against the grain of what larger brand identites are doing with color schemes. I really enjoy it." – Matt Gustavsen, co-founder of Project Never
"Clean, simple, and meaningful. The colors, typography, and layout are all consistent and create a strong brand. Great work." – Justin Hastings, co-founder of Project Never
They will receive:
- a Print Insider Membership courtesy of Print,
- a one-year subscription to Communication Arts Magazine, courtesy of Communication Arts, and
- 1500 Veer credits for creative elements including images, fonts and merch from Veer.com.
